WASABI is Sydney Uni's Japanese Cultural Society.
Our History
Started in September 2003, Wasabi is one of the younger societies on campus.
Our current membership stands at just over 200 - quite amazing considering our age.
Our Vision
Wasabi strives to promote the Japanese culture and language by bringing
together people with an interest in all things Japanese.
Through special events such as cooking classes, tea ceremonies and kimono wearing, we hope to
give everybody an opportunity to experience Japanese culture first hand.
Besides these special events, we also plan regular meetings on campus where members can
practice language skills, meet like-minded individuals or just chill out and trade gossip!
